TalTech - the flagship of Estonian engineering and technology
Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) is the only technological university in Estonia. According to Estonian universities' reputation survey, TalTech is Estonia's most innovative university and especially known for its innovation in the field of digital technologies and engineering. TalTech is where the true synergy between different fields is created and new vibrant, and ground-breaking ideas are born. Our university is home to the self-driving car (ISEAUTO) - a project brought to life by our students and scientists, and the test ground for the first 5G network - a prototype of the future smart city.

TalTech has over 9200 students and 13% of them are international students from around 100 different countries. There are 4 Bachelor’s and 15 Master's programmes available in English. The university has close academic partnerships with up to 500 different universities worldwide and is ranked among top 3% of world’s best universities (QS World University Ranking).

At TalTech, we value cooperation with enterprises and business. For many companies as well as public authorities, we are often the first contact point for finding solutions to a variety of organizational and product development questions. Our innovation and business centre Mektory brings together researchers, students and entrepreneurs offering young people inspiration, knowledge, and resources to create and develop student start-ups and other innovative business ideas. In addition, Tehnopol - a science and business campus for innovative tech companies - shares its grounds with TalTech's campus and is home to a start-up incubator as well as to many companies such as Skype, Cybernetica, Starship Technologies, Ektaco, and SMIT.
