Postgraduate diploma (or higher)

All applications must include:
1) official copies of both bachelor’s and master’s diplomas and diploma supplements (transcripts) in the original language;
2) official translations of the diplomas and diploma supplements into English, if applicable;
3) proof of English language proficiency at a satisfactory level;
4) copy of the passport page stating the applicant´s personal particulars;
5) motivation letter (guidelines here);
6) curriculum vitae (relevant form).

NB! Please be sure to check further information on required documents on the website of the Chemical and Physical Sciences programme.

There is a set list of thesis projects, which applicants must choose from. See the list at ut.ee/en/content/phd-open-calls.

Applicants are evaluated based on
1) Motivation letter
2) Entrance interview

Motivation letter must be uploaded in DreamApply by the application deadline. All applicants, who score at least 35 points out of 50 from the thesis project, will be invited to the interview.

You can only apply for one specialisation/project per intake.

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: inglise / eesti.
