Overview
General objectives of the programme: to educate competent, internationally recognised researchers, teachers, and top specialists in forestry and the related fields. The graduates of the PhD programme of Forestry are competent to work in universities, research and development institutes, in government authorities and in the private sector as top managers of forest management and timber industry, and as top specialists of forestry and environmental protection.
Programme structure
240 ECTS (basic study 20 ECTS, speciality study 35-40 ECTS, optional subjects 0-5 ECTS, doctoral thesis 180 ECTS).
Students have to pass all compulsory courses and defend the Doctoral thesis.
