Admission for international students for next academic year has started

Estonian universities are accepting applications from international students to study in Estonia for 2015/2016 academic year. Some universities started accepting applications already in December 2014, however starting from January 2015 most Estonian universities are accepting application documents for next year.

Interest towards Estonia as a study destination is increasing every year, although there is currently only one university (Estonian Business School) practicing twice a year intake. Other Estonian universities have intake only once a year, but this does not seem to reflect on international students` interest towards studying in Estonia.

All Estonian universities offering degree programmes in English, use the same admission system – www.estonia.dreamapply.com. This handy online system allows students to apply for multiple Estonian universities and multiple programmes with one application. However, their choices have to be prioritized. Students can choose over a variety of degree programmes offered in Estonia fully in English language on bachelor, master and doctoral level (www.studyinestonia.ee/programmes). Although ICT, engineering and business tend to be most popular study choices, then law, media, medicine and international relations are also gaining much interest.

Different universities and programmes have different deadlines, therefore it is strongly recommended to check what are the deadlines for each university and present all required information and documents by deadline.
