The programme of Tallinn Summer School includes more than 30 courses offered in various fields like languages, humanities, social sciences and creative workshops. In 2013 the programme is mainly focused on creativity, offering courses from interpreting film language to designing serious games, from poetry writing to creative psychotherapy, from photography to creative entrepreneurship. However, the most popular course is traditionally Estonian language. This year, there are 72 participants who are learning the language in five different levels, 18 of them have received a scholarship from the Estonian Institute and 10 from the Archimedes Foundation. It is also worth to mention that among all 320 participants there are 30 of those, who have already attended Tallinn Summer School or Tallinn Winter School before!

At the same time, Tallinn Summer School is more than just intensive study courses: as a tradition, there is recreational workshops and cultural programme organized for the participants, which include museum lectures, trips to East and West Estonia, lectures on Estonian culture and economy, as well as different social events like international evenings, tours, movie nights, dance workshops and many more. After completing the courses participants are encouraged to take part in the specially organized field trip to St. Petersburg and Moscow.
