Estonian universities are introducing studying possibilities in Estonia to students in Georgia

Seven Estonian higher education institutions in cooperations with Archimedes Foundation are introducing this week their programmes, application conditions and scholarships in Tbilisi, Georgia.

During this week, there are several events going on set up by the Archimedes Foundation programme Study in Estonia.


On 25th and 26th of February the delegation is visiting universities in Tbilisi. During the visits, the students can take part in infosessions where they can hear more about the studying possibilities in Estonia. The following universities will be visited: Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, Tbilisi State Conservatoire ja Music Seminar.

On the 26th of February Study in Estonia in cooperation with the Estonian Embassy in Tbilisi is having a alumni evening to all the Georgians who have studies in Estonia. There will be nearly one hundres people participating in the reception. Alumni are welcomed by Estonian food and music and universities will give out prizes during a lottery.

All the higher education institutions are represented at the Education Expo international education fair held on the 27th and 28th February. Thousands of students are expected to participate at the fair, all interested in studying abroad.

On the 1st of March, Study in Estonia will hold an infosession for Georgians at the beautiful Courtyard Marriott Hotel at the centre of Tbilisi. Over 600 people have registered by now for the event. During the infosession Study in Estonia and university representatives will introduce Estonia, its culture, living and working conditions and studying possibilities. Georgians who are interested in studying in Estonia can meet university representatives in person to ask extra questions about programmes, applications procedure and scholarships.

At the moment, there are 110 Georgian students studying in Estonia on Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral level.
