EUAS class of 2017 were the first students to receive an e-diploma in addition to the traditional diploma on paper. The e-diploma allows for faster and easier recognition of educational documents around the world.

Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (EUAS), Estonia’s largest private university, has begun issuing e-diplomas (also known as digital diplomas). The e-diploma is a digital document with the university’s digital stamp which certifies the alumnus’ educational details. The e-diploma contains all the same information as a traditional diploma and the diploma supplement.

“For some years now we have been an almost entirely paper-free university. The student can do everything online. The next logical step after the award-winning Study Information System is the e-diploma. We manage our careers online – it’s only reasonable that verified educational documents are available digitally as well,” said Tauno Õunapuu, Vice Rector for Development at EUAS.

E-diplomas will be issued to all EUAS graduates, including all foreign students enrolling in EUAS in September 2017 or February 2018.
