Proof of sufficient English language level:
- IELTS Academic (International English Language Testing Service) 5.5 with 5.5 or above in each band. Please note that IELTS test result is valid for 2 years.
- Cambridge test- FCE
- BEC (Business English Certificate) Vantage
The International English test certificate can be replaced by:
-oral and written entrance test in English at EBS score min. 70%
-completion of the previous level of education in English, in the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland
-the results in English language test of at least 70% from an International Baccalaureaute School (with the instruction in English).
Specific requirements for Non-EU applicants:
Due to regulations non-EU candidates can apply only to Estonian Business School in Tallinn. Helsinki office can accept Finnish and EU candidates.
The International Business Administration programme is designed for people interested in economics and business who wish to acquire professional knowledge and skills to work in an international company or in the public sector. In addition to knowledge of economics and business, the programme also provides very good Business English language skills and an opportunity to specialize in marketing and communication or finance and accounting.
Our English-language Bachelor’s-level International Business Administration study programme has become the first in Estonia to receive EPAS accreditation – among the highest-level recognition a business programme can receive.
The programme is recognised by the CFA Institute meaning that our finance courses are taught in accordance with the requirements of CFA Level 1. Topics in the accounting courses are covered in line with the equivalent topics in the ACCA examinations.

Studies at EBS Helsinki campus are session-based, meaning the lectures and seminars are held in three-day sessions every other week. The session-based studies require attitude and willingness to study independently.
The structure of the curriculum consists of:
Core subjects – 61,5 ECTS
Special subjects – 96 ECTS
Internship – 7,5 ECTS
Optional courses – 7,5 ECTS
Final exam – 7,5 ECTS
TOTAL 180 ECTS
The programme consists of basic studies which include general subjects and courses in economic theory, and professional studies which include business administration courses and specialized courses (major).
After graduation you can find job as:
- Specialist or manager with skills in economics and management in private or public sector organizations;
- Specialist in financial investment (analyst, investment manager, agent);
- Developer or leader of business projects;
- Specialist in advertising or marketing.
