Previous education documents or the most recent academic transcripts (if the final documents are not yet available) should be presented in the original language and in English. If possible, transcripts should include an explanation of the grading system.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
A motivation letter must be added to your application.
PS! It is important to properly cite any sources (quotations, publications, ideas which are not your own etc.) used in your motivation letter, because to do otherwise would be plagiarism and result in disqualification.
Candidates are required to have English language ability level of B1.1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). No separate language certificate is required.
Eligible candidates will be notified and will have Skype interview conducted by professors of the TalTech Language and Communication Centre to assess the level of language.
Before the interview, please make sure that you have your valid passport ready for identification and your web camera and microphone are working correctly.
This English Language Preparatory Year is developed to bring the student’ English language skills higher level to be ready to continue studies in university degree programmes. Students will benefit from our intensive and goal-oriented programme. The year will provide the students with a challenging curriculum with in-class studies, at-home assignments, different projects and will end with the University’s English language proficiency test.
