Overview
General objectives of the programme: training of scientists, teachers and top specialists competent in veterinary medicine, food science and associated areas. The acquired knowledge and skills enable the graduate qualified in veterinary medicine to work at universities, research and development institutes, governmental food and veterinary authorities, veterinary and food laboratories, agricultural, food and biomedical enterprises. The graduate of food science is qualified to work at universities, research and development institutes, the food industry, product development and food control laboratories, governmental organisations.
Programme structure
240 ECTS (basic study 20 ECTS, speciality study 35-40 ECTS, optional subjects 0-5 ECTS, doctoral thesis 180 ECTS).
Students have to pass all compulsory courses and defend the Doctoral thesis.
