Candidates are expected to send their paper documents to the higher education institution of their first preference. In case of EMÜ, following postal address is valid:
- A recent* TOEFL Certificate: only internet-based test scores are accepted, with minimum score being 61.

General objectives of the programme: to educate competent, internationally recognised researchers, teachers, and top specialists in forestry and the related fields. The graduates of the PhD programme of Forestry are competent to work in universities, research and development institutes, in government authorities and in the private sector as top managers of forest management and timber industry, and as top specialists of forestry and environmental protection.
240 ECTS (basic study 20 ECTS, speciality study 35-40 ECTS, optional subjects 0-5 ECTS, doctoral thesis 180 ECTS).
Students have to pass all compulsory courses and defend the Doctoral thesis.
