Overview

Enactive Virtuality Lab is looking for a PhD candidate to join a research project that combines arts and sciences to study VR/AR/XR storytelling in immersive narrative environments. We explore how the viewer’s experience of co-presence can be controlled by parametrically modifying the behavior of a screen character or its context.

This doctoral position is a part of the EU Mobilitas Pluss Top Researcher project of Prof. Pia Tikka

We welcome applicants with relatively advanced skills in some of the following topics:

Game-engines, Unreal, or Unity
3D character animation
Volumetric capture technology
Biosensor-driven interaction set-ups
Psychophysiological experiments and data-analysis
Programming, machine learning
