Doctoral Candidate position dealing with subjective well-being of children in early childhood (5-8 years old), the development of a child-friendly subjective well-being indicators and the usefulness of well-being data.

The ideal candidate has a background in studying the subjective wellbeing of small children (5-8 years old) and experience in working as a project manager in a government research project focusing on the subjective well-being of children. Knowledge and experience of the multi-method Mosaic approach, which combines activity with traditional research methods, will be considered as an advantage.

The research projects run in Espoo and Tikkurila in Finland by Häme/ Laurea Universities of Applied Sciences. Finnish language skills are required because of the field studies with Finnish speaking young children.
